Defination of bulgur:
Bulgur (known as also boulgur, bulgar) is the product which yields after the cleaning, cooking, drying, grounding and removal of the bran of the especially hard wheat (triticum durum).
Classification:
It is classifed according to grain size as course, medium and fine.
Course: It is shifted with the sieves having the diameters 3.55 mm and 1.6 mm so ground size varies from 3.55 mm to 1.6 mm.
Fine: It is shifted with the sieves having the diameters 2 mm and 0.5 mm so ground size varies from 3.55 mm to 1.6 mm.
